Fabric
We use SKAL-certified organic cotton canvas to make our best-selling bow shoppers. The factory that we buy it from works closely with the farmers who grow the cotton and they don’t use any of the  harmful pesticides and chemicals usually used for growing cotton. This way it’s good for both the farmers and the environment. When the canvas is coloured it’s done with dyes that are AZO-free (not nasty chemicals that kill the planet) and it’s colourfast in our trademark range of vibrant colours. How can we trust that all of this is true? Because we’ve been there and seen it for ourselves.

Stitching and Production
We work to IFAT (International  Federation of Alternative Trade) standards with our smaller producers in India and are currently seeking IFAT registration with them. It’s also our policy only to work with factories holding SA8000 accreditation or factories that we have visited personally and who have similarly high standards. In our small production unit in Tamil Nadu, all members of the team undertake one years training in hand and machine sewing and quality control before moving into the stitching team.
